Interior Design
This project proposes a redesign of a state high school in Israel, seeking to balance communal values with individual needs. At the heart of the building lies a central plaza that embodies belonging and gathering, surrounded by flexible learning spaces that allow each student to choose their own optimal way of learning. The traditional corridor is eliminated, redirecting circulation toward the school’s core: students emerge from their personal spaces into the shared center, and only from there venture outward. The result is a spatial framework where the individual is not absorbed by the collective, and the collective does not come at the expense of the individual.
