Rather than concentrating cultural activity within a single building, the project transforms the street into an active cultural space — a linear park connecting a network of interiors, courtyards, and performance spaces integrated into the existing buildings. New passages through the buildings connect the street with hidden back courtyards, allowing public movement to flow through the project. AMP supports emerging musicians and creators while providing neighborhood residents with spaces to work, gather, relax, and spend time. At the heart of the project is the connection between these two communities: bringing the creative process into the public realm and creating everyday encounters between artists, the community, and their audience. Throughout the network are recording and podcast studios, rehearsal rooms, performance spaces and micro-stages, alongside an instrument and equipment library, record library, and spaces for working, listening, and collaboration. Transparency, visual connections, and overlapping activities reveal the creative process and allow music to become part of the everyday life of the street. In this way, AMP blurs the boundaries between creativity, community, and public space — transforming the street into a living infrastructure for creation, encounter, and exposure.
