Public Bathhouse for Women – Old Jaffa The project proposes the design of an urban bathhouse for women within the historic Hammam building in Jaffa. The bathhouse is conceived as a communal space integrated into the everyday lives of women in the city. The project grew out of a personal curiosity about bathing and water immersion traditions, as well as familiarity with the culture of the Turkish hammam. The bathhouse offers a variety of bathing experiences, including pools at different temperatures, dry and wet saunas, and relaxation areas. The space makes it possible to integrate a culture of bathing and immersion into urban life as a time for pausing, slowing down, and caring for both body and mind. Through spaces that shift between hot and cold, public and intimate, the project creates a place that offers an everyday well-being experience while connecting a historic bathing tradition with a contemporary urban lifestyle.<br
