Resonance Center
Interior Design
The project explores the relationship between sound, space, and emotion, raising the question: If music can serve as a therapeutic tool, can the space in which it is heard become one as well?
Resonance Center is a music therapy center designed for people facing emotional, social, or cognitive challenges. Through an exploration of sound, resonance, rhythm, and the way they move through and interact with space, the design transforms the building into an active part of the therapeutic process. The project creates a sequence of acoustic experiences - from silence and absorption to reverberation and resonance - through sound transitions between spaces, listening openings and sound tubes, alongside elements that respond to movement, water, and wind. In this way, the entire building becomes a kind of musical instrument, one that can be moved through, listened to, and experienced from within.
