Senin
Industrial Design
Senin is a personal regulation and calming system designed for people with ADHD during moments of emotional and sensory overwhelm.
The project grew out of research into the everyday experiences of people with ADHD and the need for an accessible, readily available tool for moments when everyday stress becomes overwhelming. The system combines pressure, tactile textures, and vibration, along with an acupressure point inspired by traditional Chinese medicine. It allows users to personalize the size, tactile feel, and way they interact with the product according to their individual needs and preferences. Senin is not designed to eliminate the noise, nor does it claim to solve the challenges that come with ADHD. Its goal is more modest and human: to help users pause for a moment, breathe, and offer an additional tool that can support them in gradually finding their way back to balance, at their own pace.
