SOL

SOL is a home-based system designed to accompany users throughout different moments of their daily routine by engaging the senses through light, scent, sound, and touch. The system creates dynamic atmospheric states that support four distinct modes: relaxation, focus, alertness, and preparation for sleep, while responding to the users’ personal and emotional needs within the home environment. Through subtle changes in atmosphere, SOL facilitates transitions between different activities, emotional states, and rhythms throughout the day. The system consists of two objects: a primary object designed for the main living space, and a secondary object intended for the bedroom. When used together, the two create a continuous sensory experience that extends across different spaces and throughout the day and night. Both objects are connected to a dedicated application, which enables users to create personalized routines, control the system remotely, and manage the complementary bedroom object.
