Breeze – A Multi-Layered System for Adaptive Navigation and Thermal Comfort in Hot Urban Environments
**What happens when cities no longer allow us to simply walk?**
**Breeze** was born from the understanding that climate change is not only an environmental issue but also a daily challenge that affects the way we move through and experience public spaces. The project proposes an integrated system that combines cooling urban rest stations with a smart navigation app, adapting walking routes to real-time environmental conditions and the user's physical state. By combining environmental data with personal indicators, the system recommends more comfortable routes and identifies cooling rest points for recovery. Breeze reimagines the relationship between people, cities, and climate, proposing a public space that responds to users' needs and supports safe, healthy, and comfortable mobility in an era of extreme urban heat.
