The dissociative hotel | Inside enother mind

The Dissociative Hotel explores how architecture can foster empathy through spatial experience. Inspired by the lived experiences of people coping with mental health challenges, the project translates feelings of uncertainty, layered perception, and shifting realities into architectural language. Through light, transparency, reflections, partial views, and movement, visitors experience spaces that encourage them to question their own perception of reality. Rather than creating confusion for its own sake, the project offers a sensitive glimpse into a complex inner world, using architecture as a tool to promote understanding, awareness, and empathy.
