Le Village Francais

Le Village Français is a contemporary revival of the French holiday village that operated in Ashkelon in the 1970s. The project was born out of the local history of the place and imagines how it could exist today as a holiday and cultural village - a French-European enclave on the coast of Ashkelon, offering an experience based on food, wine, music, cinema, reading and leisure. The visual language connects the memories of the original village, the antiquities and the local landscape with the world of contemporary French hospitality.
