Industrial Design
The project proposes an alternative production methodology, moving ceramic casting from the controlled studio into the field, and asks: what if nature itself were the studio? In this process, liquid ceramic material is poured directly into dug pits, examining the soil's absorption capacity as a substitute for the traditional plaster mold. The soil influences the shape of the vessels, their texture, and their formation process, while partial plaster elements create zones of control, precision, and repeatability. The moment of extracting the object from the ground takes on an archaeological quality of uncovering a find. From the encounter between planning and chance, a series of ceramic objects emerges, bearing traces of place, material, and time.
