RE-DING
Interior Design
The project proposes the adaptive reuse of one of the abandoned fuel tanks at Riding into an interactive Expo Center for sustainability.
A site once used for polluting industrial activity is transformed into a public space for learning, innovation, and exhibition.
The design language draws inspiration from the site’s historic maintenance bridges and is translated into spiral ramps that extend through the tank and continue outward, connecting the complex to the promenade.
The interior of the tank is designed as a flexible and dynamic system, allowing it to adapt to the constant changes in the fields of sustainability and materials.
The space functions as an interactive exhibition and learning system through modular booths with interchangeable facades, enabling direct exposure to materials, innovations, and technologies that are continuously evolving.
