Visual Communications
Our perception is never neutral. It is shaped by our knowledge, past experiences, distance, sound, and the context in which things are revealed to us. When we are not exposed to the full picture, our mind fills in the gaps based on what it already knows, sometimes leading us to false conclusions. “Point of View” is a video installation composed of two films projected simultaneously and in sync on two separate screens. Through charged situations presented from different points of view, the project demonstrates how the same reality and the same elements can take on different meanings depending on the way they are revealed to us, and how we are never truly exposed to the full picture.
